With that family (Brassicaceae or cabbage family) the flowers all look much the same. IDing is done on the seed case.

Thanks. Can you give me the 'do not pick without a permit' reference? I'd like this for my information. I normally wouldn't pick anything but in this case it's in Bass Gardens park which has a Conservation Management Plan that provides for all the ground cover to be natives. I'm happy to get a permit from whomever, and let TCCS know. I'm a parkcare convenor for this park.

Picking a weed is ok - as you only need a permit for native plants - but you should be sure it is a weed. Re native plants Canberra Nature Map users have a group permit for collecting plants for the CSIRO herbarium but you first need to give your name and DOB to me, so that these details can be included on the permit. But all law has a common sense test so it you pick a small piece of a common plant you will be OK

I am accepting that Capsella b-p is a weed and therefore can be removed entirely. Along with all the other weeds in the park, noting that I need to be sure they are weeds.
I don't intend to pick any natives except if I need to select a leaf or seed structure to photograph it more clearly for submission to CNM for identification.
