User's notes

On steep and very weedy bank above Gudgenby River, amongst periwinkle. Only one plant in immediate area. Possibly an amaranth ?

If it is Amaranthus retroflexus, the lower stem and root will be red.

Small plants, say less than 20cm, might not have red stems but the taproot is red.
