Are the two small ring-like liverworts a different species or an early stage of the larger thallus (previously identified as Riccia cartilaginosa)

If these can be both identified to species, then it seems a pity to leave them as Riccia sp. ?
The Riccia cartilaginosa is already in CNM, so would it be K to enter this as R. subbifurca and add a comment explaining ? or i could crop the photo and re-submit ?
