Hi Alison, sorry about the delay in the ID. This ant is very similar to Camponotus consobrinus, but doesn't have a light yellow band at the front of the gaster and it is much hairier, which you can just see in your excellent photos. The first photo shows a major, with its very large head, while the others are normal workers. Cheers, Jon
