To ID Epilobium to species level, you need an excellent photo of a bit of stem and at least two whole leaves including the tips, which clearly shows the hairs (or lack of hairs).

Thanks for the tip, Betty. I'll endeavour to capture all that in the future (even if it takes separate photos). All a learning experience for me at the moment :).
