The backs of Olearia megalophylla leaves are beige- or tawny-felted. Please comment. There are several species of Olearia this might be. A photo of a couple of leaves and a bit of stem, and of the back of a leaf, would help with the ID. The excellent photo of the flowers helped, but could not narrow the ID down enough.

Thanks for your comments Betty. It was in the middle of nowhere, I am planning to head back out there in a month's time for an orchid so I won't be able to get shots of the back of the leaves and stem until then.

Betty - when I blew up the second photo I can see that the leaves are beige tomentose and have revolute margins
