Hi Jubeyjubes, a new species for CNM! Good photos again, and photo 4 is great because it shows two sizes of the same species. The genus Melophorus is generally polymorphic, which means that a colony can have workers of all sizes, sometimes from very small right up to battleship size. Cheers, Jon
Oh that's so so exciting! I found them in the nature strip which I am rehabing into grassland... They have set up shop next to some Australian speargrass, themeda, and basalt grass if that is useful? Glad you like the photos as I can't quite get good ones for the moth people!
