in very shallow water (a few cm), very turbid water, in former farm dam, now with water levels receding fast and exposing this plant which would usually be submerged.
All plants were vegetative.
Identification (using hand lens) as P. ochreatus based on leaf shape (linear), leaf width (4-5 mm), rounded apex; and venation pattern, with cross-veins.
ID confirmed by Herbarium: material retained for growing out.
