I don't think this is Microtropesa...its got several names attached to it in the ANIC; I need to track down some type images o/s to sort out whats going on here. I recommend leaving at Tachinidae sp. for the time being though.

What are the names that you have James?

Sorry, I was getting confused with something else regarding the multiple names - this taxon is undescribed, but apparently someone previously in the ANIC decided it was possibly an undescribed species of Metaphryno, and has put it in a Metaphryno sp. tray. I'm sure its not Metaphryno bella (holotype seen), but I've not idea if it actually belongs in Metaphryno, or is actually a new genus altogether: I'll have to examine it closely when i have more time. It would be nice to aslo find a fresh specimen for DNA analysis too! Anyway, I'll suggest leaving this as Tachinidae sp. until I've had time to look over it more carefully. Cheers

Edit: have had a quick look over it (though not dissected anything). It may be in Metaphryno, though I wouldn't confirm this without a lot more work.

Good on you James, now I'm really disappointed that I only had a telephoto lens and no macro, sorry.
