There are two species of Thysanotus in the ACT. One is twining (patersonii) and the other has its flowers on an upright stem (tuberosus subsp. tuberosus). There have been no records of tuberosus subsp tuberosus so far this spring. CNM records suggest it does not start flowering till mid to late November.
