I saw a couple of these beautiful butterflies, then saw one that was a bit more dull, but similar patterning - so did not take a photo. But after looking at the species list . . . I realise it might have been a fiery copper. A bit like the fish that got away . . . and I'll make sure I photograph everything in future!
