Sorry for the poor pic but is was a bit distant with little light so shutter speed was low and had to try and manual focus. It was hovering but looks like some sort of bee to me. Hope there is enough detail to confirm.

It is a fly. The eyes and what I take for the antenna are unlike those of any bee.
