User's notes

No Ants were seen. It was shady and cool at the tree so this could be the reason. The nest is in a dead branch of a large living Gum Tree. Quite a few saplings around so might get Butterflies when the season arrives.

Hi Rawshorty, without the ants I would hesitate to confirm this sighting as Papyrius. Perhaps you could check again on a warm day and see if there are some ants about? Cheers, Jon
