Attracted to UV light at night.

There are several images matching this specimen identified as Meritastis sp. on the ALA and also matching images on Bold Systems 4 for Merirastis sp. in the ANIC collection for NSW. A very similar specimen is also identified as the holotype Cacoecia fulminata from the NMV collection on the ALA, see https://bie.ala.org.au/species/NZOR-6-92183#gallery. This species also appears on the Checklist of moth species for the Atlas of Life for the Budawang Coast.
