Sadly deceased. Caught on barbed wire above a farm dam.

Barbed wire over a dam is likely to be hazardous for many birds and bats as they come in to drink. If possible it'd be better to replace with plain wire over the dam.

Can someone tell the relevant farmer that? I noticed a record from March on the same dam. Would this be likely to be the same bat or another??

Quite possibly the same bat, it's in a very decayed state. Sorry, wasn't sure if it was your dam.
