Thanks Jon. I wasn't confident enough to ID but hoped they were! These ants were very close to our house so happy for samples to be collected for ANIC. The sighting is from Nov 2018 but I am sure they will still be there. Now I know what I am looking for. :)

Hi Jon. I was wondering about the ants in sighting 4203612 (which I came across quite by chance while looking for something else). Could they be the same thing?

Hi Cath, you are absolutely right - well spotted! I'm not sure if a sighting can be listed with two species, but this one certainly should be as both insects are readily identifiable. I'll find out. Cheers, Jon
