The wild C. lanatus is found on Mugga/Isaacs. I think this is a cultivar: the leaves are less lobed, the vines are longer and the fruit is not globular.
Someone smashed the fruit so I have added another picture 18 May 2019 showing white flesh and large white seeds. I don't think it would have been very tasty.
