Pods up to 30cm. Spines on trunk and branches.

Michael M, this is not near a waterway but you have said it is a weed that should be removed before it seeds (in Molonglo River Park). It is covered in pods with dark brown seeds. Should I get some help to remove it? The ash trees in the area are probably a bigger problem.

Yes I would remove it while their are only a few plants - the thorns are just so bad that you wouldn't want to be dealing with a thicket of the stuff
