User's notes

This plant was growing in shade in damp soil between rocks in a side channel to the river. Water runs in the channel only on occasions when the river is higher. Gratiola peruviana grows nearby. From the shape of the seed pods could this be an Epilobium?

Possibly Epilobium sarmentaceum. Something to keep an eye on - photos of seeds, and closeup of stems and flowers helps with ID
