sorry for poor quality photos only ones could get it did not hang around very long.

It is not like any bee with which I am familiar and the hind leg has all segments of the foot approximately the same width, which indicates that it is a wasp.

just had a look through the wasps and could not find anything similar, not sure what else to look under
