Any chance of a photo of the caterpillar head and thorax
when it pops them out to feed or walk?
Or do you think may have died, pupated, or emerged long ago.
Was it not there before? Has it since moved from its original spot?
I want to collect head and thorax shots to see how they may help with species ID.

I am sorry, this is on our house wall and it is definitely not moving. It does not feel empty so it is probably dead. I will keep an eye out for others, cheers, Jacky
