There are at least two other species in the photo - a grass, and a soft roundish leaved plant which takes up most of the photo. If at all possible, try to have only a single species in your photo. It is a lot easier for casual users looking at the photos, especially when they have been uploaded onto the Atlas of Living Australia.
yes, thanks, good point. I usually do try: this Alternanthera was really uncommon along the river edge with no big plants evident when I visited. Still, the photo could have been angled better ! perhaps i should remove it ?
