Known plant, only just emerging. This plant has been in flower already by this time in previous years (see timeline). Other plants nearby are in bud, but some way off flowering.

Given the later flowering time, do you feel the Autumn orchids are flowering later this year in general, or just a few plants? I would have assumed the Summer rains would lead to a good season, but maybe the heat has set them back a bit?

Hi Matt. The timing this year looks much the same as 2017 and 2018, but much later than the two years before that. I guess there just wasn't enough follow-up after that earlier summer rain.
