Those sterile bases are typical of the genus Calvatia. Heino do you know the species? This pale, what appears to be grey colour (like putty) with maybe a hint of brown it is not one I'm familiar with.

Can't think of a species at the moment. Perhaps they are from much older fruit bodies, with the bases well-bleached by age. From time to time I see such old, well-bleached bases.
