A red back? Are all these eggs for one spider?? On my garage door!

Yes Christine, a red back, and the garage door is a typical place for them (so take care if you have to push a roller door up). Multiple egg sacs are also typical of many spiders, and each sac contains numerous eggs. It's probably a good thing that only a fraction of the offspring reach maturity.

Thanks Kim. I will have to take care around the garage! Anyway, I have just added another photo as it had turned around today, showing off its red back.
