It sort of keys to Mentha pulegium but does not fit the description.
What do the leaves smell like?

thanks Betty, it is pungent and smells mostly like M.diamenica, however the flowers looked to me different from the sighting #1973956, posted from a different part of the reserve.

If it smells the same as the other one, it should be the same species. However, this time you have a good photo of the calyx, which the keys use in identification.

Thanks Betty, my first thought, especially with the leaves scented thus, was M.diamenica, which is flowering at a number of locations here.

Hi guys, Looks like diemenica to me. Definitely a native one, and satureoides is supposed to be hairless, so that pretty well only leaves diemenica with that leaf shape.
