This and a 1980 record from the nearby Newline quarry are the only ACT records of this more NW species. This is a site of a former abattoir and holding yards, so it is unclear whether it is natural or introduced to the ACT - would appreciate any further records

This is the only species of Maireana that I know of that usually has wingless fruit. I have actually found one bush with winged fruit. They are few and far to find.

The plants at this location appear to have been destroyed by earthworks associated with he new Beard industrial estates (October 2020)
