The forward facing hairs on the face and thorax are characteristic of larvae of some species of Anthelidae and Lasiocampidae. Several of the Anthelidae species with such hairs feed on Mimosaceae, but I know of no reports of the Lasiocampidae larvae like that feeding on this plant family.

No. I have changed my mind. None of the Anthelidae larvae have a white collar like that. It is more reminiscent of the larva of Genduara punctigera (Lasiocampidae)

but that is only known to feed on Santalaceae.
Also I was wrong: Pararguda nasuta (Lasiocampidae) has been found on Mimosaceae, so I think this specimen is from Lasiocampidae, where we only know the larvae of 18 out of the 87 named species in that family, so it is maybe one of the other 69.
