Persoonia lanceolata normally grows on the coast and ranges. Thiere is one sighting in Tallaganda National Park. To be sure of this ID, I need to know whether the leaves are the same colour front and back, whether the leaves are longer or shorter than 2.5 cm long, and whether the bark is smooth or flakibg off in thin layers. To clinch it, whether the anthers (that produce pollen) are yellow.
I can't believe I didn't take pictures of the other side of a leaf...the additional photo shows the underside of some young leaves but they are different either side. Bark seems smooth as far as I can tell and leaves were certainly longer than 2.5 cm. No flowers. I didn't keep track of numbers but we saw at least about 5 of those along the fire trail.
