First CNM record of this localised species. The preferred food plant of the larvae is the sheoak mistletoe. The 2003 fires took out so much River She Oak - the host of the mistletoe- that we almost lost this species of butterfly from the ACT - but it is now well on the way to recovery.

Very nice record, these can be hard to get photos of! First sighting for the season too.
