This seems to be a very early record for this species (in my experience for the ACT). My earliest record is 27 November. If at Woodstock, it presumably came up from the Murrumbidgee at about 430 m elevation. My 27 Nov record was from Gudgenby River at about 605 m. I wonder if colder water and higher elevation could account for that much difference?
