There is a faint possibility it could be Glycine microphylla. Was it rooting from stems lying on the ground?

I'm not quite sure about the rooting, I would have to go back and check. But what the photo doesn't show very well is that the leaves were quite long, perhaps 5-7cm long

That is within the range for Glycine clandestina (to 8 cm), a bit long for Glycine microphylla.(to 5cm long).
