Rather hard to tell from this photo, as it looks rather dried out, but it is probably C. distans

I think there is something wrong with the GPS in my phone as this is the second incorrect record for the middle of the Tugg Pkwy. Pretty sure that C. distans doesn't occur in the middle of the northbound lane:-) I will re-enter these records and see whether that helps.

Hi Richard. Just how far wrong was the GPS given by your phone? EG, how far was the distance in metres? I am asking because we are having a small but significant number of GPS errors coming in, and we may have to review our procedures to eliminate them.

Approximately 2500m for both records. I also notice a third record that was out by about 600m. Good reason for members to double check their records after they report a sighting.

Thanks Richard. My camera sometimes gives an erroneous GPS too, so I always check the results.
