The broad slightly convex leaves suggest psiloclada. How long were the sepals? The sepals of psiloclada are 5-7 mm long; those of trflora are 8-13 mm long.

Caroline this looks more like Styphelia psiloclada than Styphelia triflora which would be a western limit and disjunct occurrence of the species on your property - a few more photos and measurement of the sepals would be good. Also it would be great if you could drop off a specimen at the CSIRO Herbarium or Botanic Gardens (Dave Albrecht from the CSIRO collects specimens dropped off at the Gardens)
