Spreading from older plants.

Likely not natural to the Isaacs Pines area, rather spreading from plants previously planted. However, does look good for G. juniperina, which is native to the ACT.

Thanks Rainer. I think the original plants were there before the suburb and in a rocky patch that might not have been planted with pines in the 1950s. The younger plants have been spreading since the pines were cleared in 2002/3. Of course the pines are growing back too.

Would be interesting to see any evidence of being there before 1950. Are the Herbarium records? Certainly looks a good fit for local form.
