Same exact spot they came up last year.

Interesting to note the change in colour and shape/size compared to the May 2016 sighting of this exact same fungi colony. This has popped up out of the exact same location in the ground both times.

Environmental conditions impact on how the fungus presents. You've had it very dry down your way lately? So if that's the case then they've done well to be so profuse. Maybe the area was watered?!
