This is the second record of this species on CNM. The ALA has only one other record from Central Queensland. This Beefly was only described in 2003 and is probably underreported, but this is certainly a rare record

Yes Stuart, the recorded distribution is hard to explain. As you say it is probably under-reported. Otherwise it really does have a disjunct distribution, or we are actually dealing with 2 species.
