User's notes

Only just over 10cm tall. Some kind of civil works and tree felling going right over the top of this extremely important colony. I'll bring to attention of ACT Gov for follow up.

Great that you caught them in full flower this time!

Aaron- I inspected the site today, with the manager of the fence construction project. The Horned Midge Orchid location is well away from any construction and will not be disturbed any further. The fence builders were asked to drag stems and large branches from small trees felled along the fence line into the reserve and some of this material was dragged close to the orchids. Vehicle tracks were evident in the vicinity of the orchids, which may have been derived from park management activities such as rabbit or weed control. Care will be taken to avoid this site in future.
