This is a cosmopolitan species but is a local native - so another one to add to the list for Griffith Woodland

great - the gift that keeps giving - apparently a healthy addition to a salad as well! One of the richest sources of omega 3 fatty acids in a leafy vegetable to boot.

It is one of the few plants that survives in my vegetable garden but I haven't tried eating it.
