It is extremely difficult to tell Polygonum arenastrum from Polygonum aviculare from a photo. The difference between them in the Plantnet key depends on the relative size of branch leaves and stem leaves, the proportion of the length of the free parts to fused parts of the perianth segments of the flowers, and the shape of the nut.
