The common species in the area is Xerochrysum viscosum, which has sticky leaves 1-5 mm wide. Much less common is Xerochrysum bracteatum, which has non-sticky rough hairy leaves 5-20 mm wide. Please provide some information about the leaves. Betty

Hi Betty, sorry I did not actually touch the leaves, but they were definitely more than 5mm wide.
