User's notes

This is a fairly common species but usually I only see a small number of fruit bodies at a time. I’m fairly sure that this is the greatest concentration of fruit bodies I have ever seen. I stopped counting at a hundred. In the drawn-back photo you see numerous larger fruit bodies but there were many smaller ones (under a centimetre across) on this wood. The third photo shows the underside of one fruit body. Herbarium collection HL6257 at CANB.
