In bonariensis the corolla tube is much longer than the calyx, and the calyx and flower stalks are distinctly glandular. In bonariensis, the corolla tube is barely longer than the calyx, and the calyx and flower stalks only have occasional stalked glands.
Mike I also have lumped V. bonariensis and V, incompata together in the past - I think some of the bonariensis ids on Canberra Nature map are actually incompacta, I will have a go at fixing
