This is listed as a threatened species in NSW

User's notes

Small clump of plants in slightly disturbed soil at the edge of a track through open forest. Not common as I have not seen in this area before.

Monticola leaflet tips are rounded to notched. Sericea leaflet tips are pointed.

Looking closely at the original photographs shows downy hairs on both sides of the leaf which would be consistent with sericea
