Idalima affinis and Periscepta polysticta are simlar looking species. They have different patterns of dots on the basal half of the forewing. P. polysticta has two rows of subapical dots and I. affinis only one. P. polysticta has a distinct break in the middle of the white line along the hindwing termen, whereas in I. affinis it is irregular but continuous. Using these criteria, 3365893 is I. affinis and 3385957 is P. polysticta.
