Thanks Tony. I think these are about to flower after the rain we have had. Is there anything I can take a photo of to help with identification? I could try for a macro shot of a more open flower (side and front )? We have your book, so we also use that as a guide. Sandra
Hi Sandra, a macro shot of an open flower would be good. Things to look for are whether the sides of the labellum are flat or crinkled and whether the apex of the labellum has a notch. As I understand it, Microtis have never been properly studied and there is some confusion about names; what has been called M. parviflora in our region may now be M. arenaria.
