All four of these photos are of teneral Blue Ringtails. The first individual (2 photos) is a female, the second individual (2 photos) is very blurred but looks to be a male.

Thanks Harvey. I have added another photo of a mating pair from a few days later. Now I can see the colour variation. Sandra

Hi Sandra - the tandem pair, with the female laying eggs, is actually a pair of Wandering Ringtails A. leda. Could you remove that last photo and use it for a new submission for Wandering Ringtail. The photo clearly shows the egg-depositing spur of the female which cuts into the stem of the plant into which the egg is laid.
