The flower stalks of Velleia always branch so that there are two flowers with stalks of equal length.

I am pretty sure they did that, I will upload another image that shows that a bit more clearly, though all my pictures of that day are bad due to the wind.

You need to have a sideways on photo of the whole plant showing clearly the dichotomous branching of the flower stalks. If it fades into the background put something behind it eg a black T-shirt.

Thanks, Michael! There is still something peculiar about this record - in the browser title bar the proper "Unidentified Other Wildflower" turns up but the header in the window itself is still "Velleia paradoxa TBC" at least at my end, or is that how it is meant to be?

The sighting looks ok to me, and the headings are also fine. The words Unidentified Other Wildflower refer to the fact that this species is found in the category Other Wildflowers.
I shifted the photo of the flower to the number one spot to see if all was still ok.
