The rare Dillwynia sp. Yetholme is also in Canberra suburbs. The back end if the flower in it constricts rapidly to the flower stalk, unlike sericea, where it tapers gradually to the flower stalk. A good photo of a sideways on flower and/or buds is necessary to determine which it is.
