Tentative identification, only one know specimen that gets eaten by wallabies frequently so hard to get a time line...

The reddish brown bracts suggest subsp. ciliata, though I cannot see the fringed margin on the bract.

I have added two images from the same specimen, one year later (reported separately). The bracts seem to be much less brown, some even not brown at all. Does that give any relevant extra information?
